The submission form must contain the full names of ALL authors, using the button "ADD CONTRIBUTORS" with capital letters only for the first letter of authors’ names.
Please, be sure to add ALL the affiliations of ALL the Authors of the article because otherwise they they will not appear online. Please, be sure to fill in carefully all the metadata of the article.
Please, mark in red the Family name of the authors in the Title page file
The manuscript text file should include tables and figure (and their legends). Figures prepared in jpeg/tiff format (or high resolution pdf)
Make sure all references are complete and correct and they follow the guidelines of the Journal. Also make sure all references cited in the text are listed in the reference list and vice versa!
The corresponding author, also on behalf of all the other authors, should declare the existence or otherwise of financial connections (consultancies, ownership of shares, patents, etc.) that might constitute a potential conflict of interest in relation to the subject matter of the article. In the case of existence of any such financial connections, the authors concerned must declare them in a brief but complete definition at the end of the article, before the references. If no conflict of interest exists type: "No potential conflict of interest relevant to this article was reported by the authors".

Author Guidelines
The Journal publishes original articles, reviews, reviews, interviews, “ever green”. The literary ownership of the articles is transferred to the Publishing House; it is forbidden to reproduce it, even partially, without the authorization of the Editorial Board and without citing the source. The Authors assume full responsibility for what they report in the text and undertake to provide written permissions for any graphic or text material taken from other published or unpublished works. The Editorial Board, after consulting the Referees, reserves the right to: accept the articles; accept them subject to acceptance of the proposed changes; reject them by giving a reasoned opinion. The files, combined to a letter with the details in order to easily contact the Authors, must be sent to the Publisher to: Dr. Valeria Ceci, Editorial Office Mattioli 1885 E-mail: [email protected] at least 20 days before the publication of the issue (approximately mid-February; mid-June, mid-October). All files must have the following requirements: - text: Word version for Windows; - tables: in Word or Excel format version for Windows; - charts: in Power Point format version for Windows. The text must not exceed 10 typed folders (A4 format, double space, 30 lines per page, 60 characters), including the bibliography (max 25 bibliographic entries). The first page must contain the title of the article, the full name and surname of the Authors, the Institutes to which they belong, the address of the first Author, the abstract of a maximum length of 10 lines and at least three Key Words. Article in English language requires title, abstract and key word only in English. Article in Italian or Spanish/Portuguese, requires title, abstract and key words in the respective language and also in English. The original articles should normally be divided into: introduction, material and methods or case report, results, discussion.
tables - Tables (in number not exceeding half of the pages of text) must have a concise title and be numbered with Arabic numerals. All abbreviations used must be clearly defined. figures - graphics, photographs and drawings must be of professional quality, therefore in jpg format of good definition (resolution from 300 dpi upwards); they must be numbered with Arabic numerals; abbreviations and symbols must be adequately explained in the captions; they must be in number not exceeding half of the pages of text. References - References must be reported in the text in brackets and in Arabic number [e.g. (1) or (1,2)]. The list of References must be reported at the end of the article and numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text. In the references must be reported: - all the works cited in the text and in the captions of tables / figures; - all authors up to a maximum of six. If they are in a higher number, report the name of the first three followed by the words “et al.”; - the titles of the journals abbreviated following the convention in use by the NLM (PubMed), otherwise in full.
