Abstract

To understand fear and the violent reactions that can result from it, it is necessary to take into account the unconscious dynamics of validation or mutual recognition in social life. It may happen that extreme acts are triggered by an overwhelming experience of shame from whose yoke the subject tries to free himself by regaining an instantaneous sense of agency even if through acts that are destructive in themselves
